How We Help Entrepreneurs Succeed
Even with a strong idea and a working prototype, many entrepreneurs spend precious years trying to make their dream a reality.
But without the resources and sales history to back them up, startups often have trouble securing this capital from investors.
Because small manufacturing runs are typically very expensive due to the up-front costs and large per-part costs, they often require a $2-3M investment to set up a dedicated manufacturing line.
That’s where we can help.
By offering shared manufacturing facilities and ongoing support, we lower the barriers to manufacturing, provide middle class jobs and training, and give entrepreneurs a way to manufacture their product at a fraction of the cost so they can keep growing. We can help get your product to market with costs in the angel investor range instead of relying on multimillion dollar, high-risk investors.
Here’s how we do it.
Teaching
We provide on-the job training for production and manufacturing jobs. Through our intern and apprenticeship programs, we offer a variety of classes, seminars and individual custom training to suit specific requirements. We also offer custom training specific to your company’s needs.
Prototype/Inventions
Through our prototyping/education partner, The Tech Toybox, we help entrepreneurs develop their ideas into viable prototypes. We then can provide the space and equipment to fully develop these new products, through a membership, to take the product to manufacturing, while connecting entrepreneurs with investors who can get their ideas to market.
Memberships
Members benefit from the expertise of our staff, availability of shared manufacturing equipment and space, and opportunities to develop ideas and products. Affiliate memberships connect investors with entrepreneurs and discover new opportunities.
